Born from the Ashes

LLUMA takes its name from the Latin lumen — light. It was built from a darker place.

Our founder's story started in the aftermath of a traumatic divorce. When everything stable disappeared overnight, she learned firsthand how disorienting major life transitions can be — and how hard it is to find real support when you're in the middle of one. She also learned that the path back to herself ran through her body. That regulating her nervous system wasn't a luxury. It was survival.

LUMA Initiative exists to give that pathway to other women.

For women navigating divorce, abusive relationships, or single parenthood, chronic stress isn't abstract — it lives in the body. The Restore Membership, offered in partnership with LUMA Yoga Studio, is designed around that reality: nervous system-informed movement, breathwork, and a community that understands what it means to rebuild.

LUMA is a place to come back to yourself. Whatever you're walking through, you don't have to do it alone.
